28 June: Edinburgh Climate Festival

The University of Edinburgh is proud to sponsor and support the Edinburgh Climate Festival.

The free event focuses on community actions to support sustainability. It is an excellent platform for organisations and individuals to come together, share ideas, and promote sustainable practices.

Come along on Saturday 28 June to the Meadows to see us, among many others, taking climate action in Edinburgh.

At our stall, we will give out free wildflower seed packets and discuss the University's sustainability progress and targets, including our net-zero by 2040 goal and our Forest and Peatland Programme.

We look forward to seeing all of the diverse and inspiring performances, stalls, and activities.

When we nurture our well-being, we grow the resilience needed to care for our communities, protect the land, and cultivate a more sustainable world. When we truly root in nature, we find the power to rise—to embrace new sustainable habits, take meaningful action, and stand together in the fight for climate justice and systemic change.
