Student representation and governance

A strong student voice in decision making is important to progress climate, sustainability and social responsibility here at the University of Edinburgh. The Edinburgh University Students' Association represents the student community in University decision making processes on these topics.

Student Climate Forum

The Student Climate Forum, hosted by the Students' Association, and supported by the University's Department for Social Responsibility and Sustainability, provides a regular forum for students to share their thoughts on University actions, policies and proposals.

Key points from the Student Climate Forum are shared back by the Vice President Community to the Sustainability, Civic and Social Responsibility Committee, ensuring a formal route for the student community to feedback to the University's decision making process on climate, sustainability and social responsibility.
