Photo posts

Contribute to citizen science – see, snap, share.

We have installed four photo posts around Drumbrae to gather photos of the landscape as it changes day to day, through the seasons and over the years.

Your photographs will help us all better understand and track changes as the new woodland develops.

Get involved, share your photos and help us monitor the changing landscape.

How to take part

When you find the photo post:

  1. Put your camera, phone or tablet into the metal rest so the camera is pointing ahead of you.
  2. Take your photo.
  3. Submit your photo using the QR code on the photo post or by using the button below.

You won't be asked to register or provide any personal information. Simply enjoy some time outdoors, take a photo and submit it.

Where are the photo posts?

We have chosen locations close to paths and access points which provide different views of the area. Some are a short walk from Sheriffmuir Road, while others require more of a hike.

Use the map below to find the four photo posts. For more detailed location information, view the interactive map on our Story Map.

Please take care and remember that there are risks associated with being outdoors and that you are responsible for your own safety and wellbeing.
