Image Tim Calder in the School of Chemistry stores received a Greenovation Award from Kimberly Clark for his contribution in setting up and implementing the RightCycle glove recycling scheme. The School of Chemistry scheme, which saved more than 130kg of gloves from landfill in its first four weeks of operation, is the first time the Right Cycle initiative has been used in the UK. With thousands of gloves used annually at the University for a variety of purposes, this scheme sets an example that can be replicated in other Schools and around the country. The Greenovation Award recognises efforts that help to reduce environmental impact. Sustainability at the School of Chemistry Publication date 07 May, 2015
